Single game discounts are not available to St. Bonaventure employees for men's basketball games. Current full-time St. Bonaventure employees are offered up to two season tickets as a taxable benefit. Employees may sit anywhere in the arena, but they must pay any difference between the cost of the season ticket they desire and the value of the benefit. Social Security taxes on the value of the benefit received are withheld via payroll deduction, and employees may be subject to applicable Federal and NYS taxes on each ticket.
This benefit is for actively working full-time employees and is not applicable for retirees or for the spouse or family members of a deceased employee. If an employee leaves St. Bonaventure University, the SBU Ticket Office reserves the right to release their seats to the general public. If you are interested in retaining your season tickets after you leave St. Bonaventure University, you must contact the SBU Ticket Office before terminating your employment.
An application must be submitted annually through the employee's MySBU account to receive season tickets. Employees can expect to receive instructions in July on how to claim their tickets for the upcoming 2018-19 season.
