EDINBORO, Pa. – Senior Theresa Dristle recorded a top-10 time in program history to show the way for the St. Bonaventure women's cross country team Saturday morning at the Doug Watts Invitational.
Dristle posted the 10th-fastest 6K individual time in Bonnies history as she crossed the stripe in a mark of 23:58, good for 10th overall out of 64 competitors. As a team, the Bonnies placed fourth out of six teams competing with 102 team points.
Another Bona's senior, Lindsey Lytle also ran a personal best time as she logged an effort of 24:48 while classmate Amberlee Robertson and sophomore Sophia Machowski ran matching times of 25:41. Junior Emma Larkman rounded out the team's top-five (26:13).
The Bonnies return to action at the Harry Anderson Invitational in Rochester in two weeks.
