LEESBURG, Va. – Senior Sydney Beeman showed the way for the St. Bonaventure women's cross country team Saturday morning at Atlantic 10 Championships.
Beeman took her best career finish in the event, crossing the finish line in 85th overall out of 131 runners with a 5K time of 20:08.9.
Sophomore Amberlee Robertson also easily bested her finish from a year ago as she finished 96th in the field with an effort of 20:28.0.
It was the first time the Bonnies had two top-100 finishers in the Atlantic 10 Championship meet since 2014 when Kerry Caher and Hannah Robinson finished fourth and 45th respectively.
St. Bonaventure finished 14th with 429 team points. La Salle won the conference championship with 68 points, coming in front of George Washington (92), Dayton (109), Richmond (115) and UMass (126).
