AMHERST, N.Y. – Senior Sydney Beeman placed 11th in a field of 47 runners to lead the St. Bonaventure women's cross country team Friday at the Buffalo Stampede Invitational held at Audobon Golf Course.

Beeman ran the 6K course in a time of 23:33, good for a personal best time as she bested her previous record of 23:54 set at the Paul Short Run in 2016.

Second on the team was junior Samantha Henry who crossed the finish line with an effort of 24:25.9.

Sophomore Theresa Dristle ran her best 6K in a Bonnies uniform as she finished in 24:48.8, just ahead of freshman teammate Emma Larkman who clocked in at 24:51.7.

Three Bonnies then finished together in a battle for the final scoring spots – Stephanie Barry led the trio with her run of 24:56.7. Amberlee Robertson was less than two seconds behind at 24:58.3 and Lindsey Clawson followed at 25:08.7.

Six upperclassmen turned in PR times for the Bonnies.

The Bonnies return to action next Saturday, Sept. 21 when they head to the Anderson Invitational hosted by Roberts Wesleyan.
