MECHANICSVILLE, Va. – Senior Emily Izydorczak showed the way for the St. Bonaventure women's cross country team as the Bonnies competed in the Atlantic 10 Championships outside Richmond Saturday morning.
Izydorczak finished 80th out of 130 competitors, running the 5K course in a time of 19:05.5, just three seconds off her best run of the season set last month in Rochester.
Sydney Beeman ran a strong effort of 19:38.2, also just four seconds off her PR time set in the Rochester meet in September.
Natalie Cummings was third on the squad with her run of 19:48.1, finishing the season with her personal best run. Cummings surpassed her previous best of 20:09.2 last month.
Samantha Henry nearly broke the 20-minute mark as well, crossing the finish line in 20:02.4 while Amberlee Robertson made her A-10 championships debut with a finish of 20:03.6 to log fifth on the team.
