FAIRFAX, Va. – St. Bonaventure's women's track team completed the 2021 spring season at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships on the campus of George Mason Sunday afternoon.
With temperatures in the mid-80s, conditions were not overly conducive to fast times. Despite the weather, Amberlee Robertson was able to beat her previous record time in the 1500 meters, finishing in 5:11.58. Her effort bested her run two seasons ago at A-10s of 5:11.92 and is the eighth-fastest individual time in the event in school history.
In the 5000, senior Samantha Henry ran the fastest SBU time of the day at 19:59.21. Also competing for the Bonnies were Lindsey Lytle (20:28.71), Emma Larkman (20:45.33) and Theresa Dristle (20.59.19).
