ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure women's track team completed a run of three indoor events to start the spring season with a second trip to RIT for the RIT February Invitational Friday afternoon.
In the 5,000 meters, Theresa Dristle put in a standout effort as she finished third with a mark of 19:53.76, the fastest time by any Bonnies women's runner in that event this season. Lindsey Clawson also put in a PR effort of 20:31.40 to finish sixth while Christine Walsh was seventh at 20:39.06.
Samantha Henry also put in a season-best in the mile as she finished in 5:38.64, leading a host of PR times as teammates Jenna Cherry, Morgan Evarts, Emma Larkman, Natalie Cummings, Tristen Reid, Morgan Brady, Kristin Reynolds and Taylor Biata all had PRs.
Amberlee Robertson recorded a team-best time for indoor season at the 800 meters as she crossed the finish line in a time of 2:30.70, good for sixth. Lindsey Lytle and Meaghan Ralph both had season-best times in the event as well.
Natalie Cummings finished second out of eight runners in the 1,000 meters with her run of 3:32.35.
