Bonnies Set Multiple Personal Records at Buffalo Invitational

BUFFALO – Frigid conditions did not stop the St. Bonaventure women's track team from turning in four personal records Saturday afternoon at the University at Buffalo Invitational.

In the 800 meters, Jenna Cherry improved her personal best, logging an effort of 2:39.62. Freshman Morgan Brady also set a personal record in the event, clocking in at 2:42.47.

Sydney Beeman took a fifth-place finish in the 1500 meters to pace the Bonnies. In the 5000, Lindsey Lytle moved into eighth place in the program record books after recording a PR of 19:48.94, finishing fourth overall in the event. Carly Olles also set a new PR of 21:08.13 in the 5000 as well.

Bona is back in action May 4-5 at UMass for the Atlantic 10 Championships.
