Women's Track Wraps Up Season at Atlantic 10 Championships

FAIRFAX, Va. – Emily Izydorczak ran her fastest career time in the 5000 meters to show the way for the St. Bonaventure women's track team on Sunday in the final day of the Atlantic 10 Championships.

The junior clocked in with a time of 18:09.12, running over six seconds faster than her mark in the 5000 at last year's conference championship meet.

Bonnies runners also competed in the 1500 meters as well. There, Rachel Guyer led the team with a time of 4:56.93. That time is the second fastest 1500 time by a Bonnies runner this season – Guyer previously ran just over a second faster last month at the Alfred Invitational.

Also in the 1500, freshmen Sydney Beeman (5:21.24) and Kristin Reynolds (5:47.56) ran in their first A-10 championship track meet.

31. Rachel Guyer – 4:56.93
35. Sydney Beeman – 5:21.24
36. Kristin Reynolds – 5:47.56

27. Emily Izydorczak – 18:09.12 (personal record)
