BUFFALO, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventrue women's outdoor track team turned in its final tune up prior to Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday by competing in the University at Buffalo Invitational.
Sophomore Emily Izydorczak showed the way by taking 10th out of 25 competitors in the 3000 meters with her time of 10:47.41.
Fellow sophomore Rachel Guyer timed in with a season best in the 800 meters, finishing eighth with a time of 2:30.25, shaving nearly five seconds off her previous best. Guyer also led the team in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:02.61. Freshman Sydney Beeman followed in the 1500-meters at 5:19.78.
Next weekend, the Bonnies will travel to UMass to take part in the Atlantic 10 Championships.
