OLEAN, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University split a pair of matches Saturday and Sunday at the SBU Tennis Center. The Bonnies fell to Cleveland State, 6-1, Saturday afternoon but bounced back and defeated Slippery Rock, 5-2, Sunday.
St. Bonaventure University matched a school record spanning the past two decades for Graduation Success Rate (GSR) as the NCAA released the 2019 annual GSR reports for all NCAA Division I institutions.
The St. Bonaventure University women’s tennis team hosts the SBU Fall Classic beginning Saturday, Oct. 5 through Sunday, Oct. 6. The Bonnies welcome Niagara and Roberts Wesleyan to the two-day event. Location of the SBU Fall Classic will be dependent on the weather. If the weather is playable, all matches will be played on campus at the outdoor courts. If weather prohibits play outdoors, matches will be moved to the indoor courts at the SBU Tennis Center off-campus.
The St. Bonaventure University women’s tennis team returns to action at the Army West Point Invite in West Point, N.Y. Each day of the invitational is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. Also competing at the West Point Invite are Air Force, Drexel, Rutgers, Columbia, Syracuse, UConn, Stony Brook, Colgate, Lehigh, Quinnipiac, Marist, Fordham, St. Francis (Brooklyn), Sacred Heart, Binghamton, NJIT, Fairfield, Bryant and Seton Hall.
The St. Bonaventure University women’s tennis team begins its 2019 fall slate with a trip to the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, MD this weekend. The invitational runs Friday, Sept. 13 to Sunday, Sept. 15. Action on Friday begins at 12:00 p.m. while play on Saturday and Sunday begins at 9:00 a.m. Also competing at this weekend’s invitational are Binghamton, Bucknell, Fairleigh Dickinson, Howard, Lehigh, Monmouth, Navy and Niagara.
