Bonnies Fall To Duquesne In First Round Of A-10 Championship

LAKE NONA, Fla. – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team fell to Duquesne, 4-0, in the first round of the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship Wednesday morning in the Sunshine State.

The Dukes started the match by taking the doubles point away from the Bonnies with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. Emily Stanley and Kahlei Reisinger were leading Priyanka Mitta and Margot Pessy, 4-3, but the match was not finished.

Duquesne earned wins at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 5 singles to take the match.

The Bonnies finished the regular season with a 8-14 record, their highest win total since the 2011-12 season.
