Bonnies Drop Match To Saint Joseph's, 5-2

PHILADELPHIA – The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team started fast by winning the doubles point, but fell, 5-2, to Saint Joseph's Sunday afternoon.

Penelope Abreu and Andrea Roque started the winning for the Brown and White at No. 1 doubles, defeating Amanda Nava and Isis Gill-Reid, 6-4. At No. 2, Kahlei Reisinger and Emily Stanley teamed up to take down Paige Conrad and Madeline Hill, 6-2, to secure the doubles point.

Stanley was victorious in singles action as well, beating Alex Kramer in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4, at No. 5.

Sunday's match concludes regular season action for the Bonnies and are off until April 24 when they head south to Florida for the Atlantic 10 Championships.
