The No. 13 St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team is set to begin competition at the 2017 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championships.

The Brown and White will compete in the tournament's first action as they take on No. 4 Davidson at 9:00 a.m.


  • The St. Bonaventure Bonnies come into the Atlantic 10 Championships having won seven matches this season, the most since the 2011-12 campaign. The Brown and White were playing its best tennis at the end of the season, capturing wins in three of its last four matches. 
  • Gabriella Bowe gave the Bonnies consistent success from the No. 2 spot, finding nine wins this spring.
  • Mara Martinez-Santori took on the No. 1 role all season for the Bonnies and earned five wins in the spot.
  • Lauren Doversola was solid for St. Bonaventure in the No. 6 spot, earning a team-best 11 wins.
  • In doubles action, Martinez-Santori and Gabriella Bowe have held strong in the No. 1 spot, earning a team-best nine wins. The pair of Clara Herberts and Kahlei Reisinger have earned six wins in No. 2 doubles this season.


  • The Davidson women's tennis team went 14-5 this season, and 6-2 against Atlantic 10 opponents.
  • Their six Atlantic 10 wins came against George Washington, Rhode Island, Saint Joseph's, George Mason, Dayton and Richmond.
  • Anna Feaster plays in the No. 1 position and held her own against the top competition, going 10-4 at the spot.
  • Alexandra Abele grabbed the most singles wins on the team this season at 15-4, mostly playing in the No. 4 spot.
  • In doubles action, the pair of Samantha Armas and Megan Scholvinck play in the No. 1 spot and went an impressive 11-5 this season. Feaster and Ally Sexton play in the No. 2 spot and grabbed 12 wins, half of which came against A-10 opponents.
