Bonnies Women's Tennis to Host Colgate, Saint Francis (Pa.) for Weekend Homestand

The St. Bonaventure University women's tennis team hosts a pair of weekend matches for its seventh and eighth events at the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center.


  • The St. Bonaventure women's tennis team is in search of its fourth win this spring, most recently falling at Cleveland State (March 4).
  • Two of the Bonnies' three wins have come at home this season.
  • St. Bonaventure's most recent point came on a No. 3 singles win from Clara Herberts against Wright State on March 1. Herberts defeated her opponent in a hard-fought match, 7-6, 6-2.
  • Lauren Doversola, Dominique Mortier, Herberts and Kahlei Reisinger have all captured four singles wins so far this spring.


  • The Colgate women's tennis team comes to the St. Bonaventure Fitness Center with a 3-4 record.
  • Most recently, the team fell to Binghamton, 4-3, on March 5, and the team's latest win came over A-10 rival La Salle, 7-0, on Feb. 25.
  • Lauren Hyland leads the Raiders, as she plays both No. 1 singles and No.1 doubles. Against Binghamton, she claimed wins in both, winning her singles match, 6-1, 7-6 (1) while her and her partner defeated their opponents in doubles, 6-3.


  • The Saint Francis (Pa.) Red Flash currently have a 3-7 overall record this spring, and have lost consecutive matches at Temple (Feb. 25) and at Lehigh (Feb. 26), both of which coming via a score of 6-1.
  • Prior to the two-match skid, the Red Flash earned a pair of consecutive victories against St. Francis College (Feb. 12) and Lafayette (Feb. 18). 
  • Freshman Kathryn Dunleavy was named NEC Women's Tennis Rookie of the Month. So far this spring, she has earned five singles wins and a doubles win, mostly playing out of No. 5 singles.
  • Dunleavy's five singles wins in dual play are tied for the most on the team with Raksha Bode, who has earned hers playing in No. 3 and 4 singles.
  • In doubles, as a team, Saint Francis (Pa.) is 8-19 so far this spring, with a combined six total wins coming from the No. 1 and No. 2 spots.
  • Prior to taking on the Bonnies, the Red Flash will travel to Buffalo to battle with the the Bulls on Friday.

All fans in attendance will receive a Tim Horton's Roll-Up the Rim to Win Cup at the front desk both Friday and Saturday. Fans are also welcome to pickup a match program at the very same location.

The Bonnies will head to Akron and take on UW Milwaukee on March 17, then head home to host Atlantic 10 rival Dayton on March 18.
