The Short Story:
The St. Bonaventure women's tennis opened up its Atlantic 10 conference schedule on Saturday, March 21 with a loss to Duquesne, by a score of 6-1.

In singles play, sophomore Mariam Skhirtladze picked up the lone win for the Bonnies on Saturday with a two sets to one victory over the Dukes' Chandler Consonery. Mara Martinez-Santori battled for a second point for the Brown and White, but fell in two straight sets after winning the first.

As for doubles play, the duo of Marisa Brossard and Martinez-Santori notched the only win for St. Bonaventure, as they defeated Sarah Shashura and Kylie Isaacs, by a score of 8-6.

Brossard and Martinez-Santori are now 8-3 on the season in doubles matches, while Skhirtladze improved her overall record to 8-7 with all eight victories coming in the four spot.
