GENEVA, Ohio – Rachel Kimmel's silver medal highlighted the St. Bonaventure University women's swimming team's final day of competition at the 2021 Atlantic 10 Championships.
Kimmel swam a 2:14.72 in the finals of the 200-breaststroke to win a silver medal, adding to the gold she won Friday in the 100-breaststroke. Kimmel's career medal count now stands at seven.
Hayley Tasselmyer also turned in a strong performance in the 200-breaststroke, placing fourth with a time of 2:15.77.
Earlier in the afternoon, Katrina Wardner earned an eighth place finish in the 100-freestyle, clocking in at 52.13.
The Bonnies finish the weekend in eighth-place with 215 points. Richmond took home the championship trophy with 687.5 points. Duquesne finished in second with 539 points while Davidson rounded out the top three with 515 points.
