LEWISTON, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure women's swimming and diving team finished up the dual meet season Friday afternoon at Niagara and the Bonnies are heading into championship season on a high note after defeating the Purple Eagles, 141-98.
Tasselmyer and Kimmel doubled up for the Brown and White in individual events Friday. Tasselmyer was the winner of the 200-freestyle (1:59.08) and the 500-freestyle (5:17.87). Kimmel earned wins in the 200-IM (2:10.17) and the 100-freestyle (54.94).
Also winning for the Bonnies were Elena Rohr, Emerson Graham and Oberholzer. Rohr took first in the 3-meter dive, posting a total score of 242.70. Graham won the 100-breaststroke in 1:09.47 and Oberholzer grabbed first in the 100-backstroke, clocking in at 59.19.
The Bonnies return to the pool Feb. 19 on the first day of the Atlantic 10 Championships at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
