The St. Bonaventure University women's swimming and diving team travels to the Atlantic 10 Invitational at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The two-day event starts Saturday, Nov. 2 and ends Sunday, Nov. 3. The Bonnies will match up against conference rivals Duquesne, George Mason, La Salle and Saint Louis.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies last competed on the weekend of Oct. 12 sweeping meets against Le Moyne and Colgate. Junior Katrina Wardner led St. Bonaventure winning three individual events including the 100-freestyle, with a time of 53.71, the 100-butterfly, 59.20 and the 200-IM, 2:08.54. Zanre Oberholzer, Rachel Kimmel, Claire Schaef and Izzy Aguilera were also winners of individual events as Bona's took down Colgate, 234-79 and Le Moyne, 254-58, respectively.
LAST YEAR'S MEET
In the Atlantic 10 Classic last year, St. Bonaventure dropped three out of four meets losing to Saint Louis, George Mason and Duquesne. The Bonnies defeated La Salle, 206-144. Sophomore Rachel Kimmel led the team with wins in individual events.
PERFORMER OF THE WEEK
Following the Justin Jennings Memorial Invite at Colgate, junior Katrina Wardner was named the Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week after winning three individual events.
The Bonnies will compete next at Cornell at 1 p.m. Saturday Nov. 9 in Ithaca, New York.
