The St. Bonaventure University women's swimming and diving team visits Binghamton Saturday, Jan. 26 on the road in Vestal, N.Y. The Bonnies final road dual meet is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bonnies last swam Monday at the Reilly Center Pool against the Cornell Big Red, with Cornell taking a 137-103 team win. The Bonnies, however, were the winners of five events on the day.
Ivana Janssen (50-freestyle), Katrina Wardner (200-IM), Rachel Kimmel (100-breaststroke) and Brittany Hart (1-meter dive) were all individual winners for the Brown and White. The quartet of Mia Cote, Rachel Taylor, Wardner and Janssen won the 200-freestyle relay with a time of 1:39.60 to close out the meet.
The Bearcats currently hold a dual meet record of 6-1. Binghamton has wins over Marist, Canisius, Niagara, Siena, Colgate and Stony Brook. Their lone loss of the season was a 174-114 defeat against New Hampshire. Jennifer Gosule, Brooke Pettis, Sarah Schoenfeld, Katarina Tibensky and Sarah-Jane Wied are the seniors that pace the Bearcats.
The Bonnies return to the Reilly Center Pool for their final dual meet of the season when they host Niagara on Saturday, Feb. 2. The meet is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. Prior to the meet St. Bonaventure will honor its five seniors, Katherine Craig, Frances Erney, Adele Ferris, Brittany Hart and Rachel Taylor.
