GENEVA, Ohio – The St. Bonaventure University women's swimming and diving team improved during the third day at the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships, sitting at ninth place with 137.5 points with the day highlighted by school-record breaking performances from Devon McFadden and the 400-medley relay team. 

McFadden broke the St. Bonaventure school record for the 100-backstroke twice on the day, first in the prelims at 55.69 then in the finals at 55.62 for sixth place.

The Brown and White also saw a school record go down as the 400-medley relay team of Theresa HuttonMaria Rocchi, McFadden and Kathryn Godlewski timed in at 3:46.97 for sixth place. Tonight's time replaces the previous record set earlier this year at Akron.

The Bonnies also received scoring from Maria Rocchi and Alyssa Levac in the 100-breaststroke, and on the diving board from Brittany Hart and Elena Rohr in the 3-meter dive.

Action in the final day of the Atlantic 10 Championships will feature prelims and finals for the 200-backstroke, 100-freestyle, 200-breaststroke and 200-butterfly along with the 1650-freestyle and 400-freestyle relay. Prelims begin at 10:00 a.m. The 1650-free will take place at 3:15 p.m. with finals for the morning's events starting at 6:30 p.m.
