ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's swimming and diving team earned five first-place finishes but came up short against Cornell Friday evening at the Reilly Center Pool, 180-118.
Rocchi eventually captured a win of her own as she bested her competition in the 200-breaststroke at 2:23.68.
Michaela Ryan earned the first win of the evening for the Bonnies, claiming first in the 1000-freestyle (10:50.32).
Brittany Hart set a personal best in the 1-meter with a score of 241.58 as she captured first.
St. Bonaventure will conclude its regular season next weekend. On Friday, Jan. 27, the Bonnies will take on Buffalo at 4:00 p.m. before a quick turnaround at home on Saturday, Jan. 28 against Niagara at 1:00 p.m. for senior day.
