BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's swimming and diving team earned a 165-131 win Saturday afternoon at Binghamton.
The Brown and White finished first in 12 of the 16 total events, including first-place finishes in the first six of the afternoon.
"All in all, I think today was a step in the right direction," said St. Bonaventure head coach Brian Thomas. "I knew we'd have to collect a lot of first-place points in order to win the meet and we were able to do that pretty consistently."
Devon McFadden earned wins in three events (100 and 200 Backstroke events and the 200-IM).
On the diving board, Brittany Hart won both events for the Bonnies.
St. Bonaventure will be back in the pool on Friday, Jan. 20 as the Bonnies return to the Reilly Center Pool to host Cornell. Action begins with diving at 12:30 p.m. and swimming at 3:30 p.m.
