ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University and Alfred University softball teams are joining forces to support the Walk to End Alzheimer's on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. at Fireman's Park in Allegany.
Registration for the event begins at 9 a.m. and the walk officially gets underway at 10:15 a.m.
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. Click here to learn more.

"The SBU softball program is excited to share the day with the Alfred University softball team and local youth players," Threehouse said. "We look forward to the day where these walks are remembered as what helped find a cure for Alzheimer's."
Later that day, the clubs will play a doubleheader featuring two nine inning games at St. Bonaventure's Joyce Field beginning at 12:30 p.m.
