Bonnies Drop 4-0 Decision To No. 20 Saint Louis

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure University women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 defeat to Dayton Sunday morning at the Marra Athletics Complex.

The Billikens (9-1-0, 4-0-0 A-10) took control of the contest with a barrage of goals in the first half.

Saint Louis, ranked 20th in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll struck first in the 13th minute when Sophia Stram put one in the back of the net.

Just moments later in the 15th minute, Stram was the recipient of a ball from a corner and cashed in for her second score of the contest.

The Billikens got a third goal when Abbie Miller scored in the 17th minutes after pouncing on a rebound off another Saint Louis shot.

A fourth Saint Louis goal came in the 57th minute, squashing any hope for a St. Bonaventure comeback.

Clare Davis, Kenzie Tarmino and Christine Napoli all tallied shots for the Bonnies (0-4, 0-4 A-10).

The Bonnies are back in action Thursday, April 1 on the road at Dayton. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
