The St. Bonaventure women's soccer team will play host to the Rhode Island Rams in an Atlantic 10 Conference match Thursday night under the lights at the Marra Athletic Fields Complex. Both teams are looking for their first A-10 win of the season.

Sunday in the Bronx, Fordham scored two second half goals and limited the St. Bonaventure offense to only five shots on goal on their way to a 2-1 win over the Bonnies. Senior Abby Maiello put St. Bonaventure on the board in the 89th minute depositing a penalty kick into the back of the net for her team-leading seventh goal of the season. The loss dropped the Bonnies to 3-8-2 and 0-4 in the A-10.

Senior forward Abby Maiello has been the overall leader for the St. Bonaventure offense this season. The Mechanicville, N.Y. product leads the team in goals (7), points (17) and shots (35). Maiello's seven goals are tied for fourth in the conference in that category. Maiello has started all 13 games this season for St. Bonaventure.

The Bonnies and Rams have squared off 19 times with Rhode Island holding a slim 10-9 lead in the series.  Last year, St. Bonaventure went to URI and came away with a 2-1 win.
