It has been four years since the Bonnies traveled to Albany to compete against the UAlbany Great Danes. During that matchup, six players from UAlbany earned 3 or more points as the team dominated St. Bonaventure, 19-3.

St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse head coach Jason Levesque has announced Destinee Johnson, Andrea Hill, Julia Davidson and Savannah Clarke as team captains for the 2021 season.

Head coach Jason Levesque welcomes back 30 players from last year's roster and adds 10 newcomers to the roster for the 2021 campaign. The 8 returning seniors are Savannah Gonsiorek, Jessica LosquadroDestinee Johnson, Andrea Hill, Julia Davidson, Ashley Easterday, Savannah Clarke, and Avery Teeple.

Destinee Johnson was selected to participate in the 2021 NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar earlier this month. The program works to educate, develop and connect young professionals with the skills necessary to accelerate their career progression in college sports.

  • Despite the abrupt ending to the 2020 season, UAlbany got six solid games in, finishing 6-2 overall. The Great Danes finished the season with a 20-10 victory over Siena.
  • After 349 days, the UAlbany women's lacrosse team returned to action, kicking off the 2021 season with a 22-12 defeat at #13 Boston College.
  • In their latest matchup between Boston College, Hailey Carroll scored four goals, while Kendra Harbinger and Kyla Zapolski each recorded a hat trick. UAlbany's Madison Conway scored two goals and recorded four assists.

Colgate came away a 20-2 winner Friday afternoon in the season-opener for the St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team. Freshman Abby Hiltz gave the Bonnies their first tally of the year with her first collegiate goal off an assist from Jerica Obee at 23:50, tallying her first career point after redshirting last season. Colgate would ultimately take a 13-1 lead to halftime and never looked back. Rebecca Howe also scored for the Bonnies.

After almost a month off, the Bonnies return to the field to take on Akron March 20 at the Marra Athletics Complex. After that, the Bonnies will get home field advantage for their first two Atlantic 10 Conference games. St. Bonaventure welcomes Duquesne March 26 and then Saint Joseph's March 28.
