RICHMOND, Va. — The defending Atlantic 10 champion Richmond Spiders dominated the Bonnies, 19-3, in Sunday afternoon's contest in Robbins Stadium.
The Spiders (8-2, 1-1 A-10), took control of the game immediately, scoring four times in the first five minutes which included a hat trick from Katie Sciandra. Richmond erased any doubt during the first half, taking a 14-0 lead to intermission.
It was the first point of Dombrowski's career, and just the second appearance on the season for the newcomer out of Merion Mercy Academy in Devon, Pa.
For MacDonald, it was her second straight game with a goal, and her sixth of the season. The four-year Bonnie now has 29 on her career.
St. Bonaventure cracked the scoreboard two more times with time winding down in the second.
The first came from sophomore Julia Davidson when she connected on a free position opportunity with 7:23 left for her sixth goal of the season. She's now just five points off her career high 11 goals and 13 points last season.
The final came from freshman Madison Mundenar with 3:56 on the clock. It was the Yardley, Pa. native's fifth goal of the season and sixth point, which moved her past Kayla Radzyminski for the points lead among Bonnies freshman.
She was assisted on the goal by Destinee Johnson, which extended the junior's scoring streak to eight straight games.
The Bonnies have some time off before heading back out on the road Friday for their third conference tilt of the season at George Washington.
