The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team kicks off the first leg of its spring break trip with road contests against Butler and Kent State on Friday and Sunday.

ROAD SWING
After opening their season at home against Lafayette Feb. 9, the Bonnies won't return to the Marra Athletics Complex until March 16. Their Feb. 13 matchup vs. Niagara began a five-game road stretch that includes games at Butler and Kent State and a two-game stint in Georgia against Mercer and Kennesaw State.

SERVING UP MORE THAN SCORING
Olivia MacDonald netted her first goal of the season during the Bonnies visit to Niagara. It was 24th of the senior attack's career spanning 53 games, but more than scoring, MacDonald has provided value all over the field this season, collecting three ground balls and causing one turnover.

GOALS RISE IN THE EAST
Sophomore attack Ashley Easterday picked up right where she left off last season. The New Jersey native scored her first goal of the season and 21st career goal vs. Niagara. Last season, her 31 total points were the most by a Bonnies freshman since Cara Callahan's 44 in 2011.

IMPRESSIVE SOPHOMORES
Alongside Easterday, the Bonnies' sophomore class is off to strong start in 2019 after impressing last season. Julia Davidson leads all field players with four ground balls, Savannah Gonsiorek leads the way with three caused turnovers and Jessica Lasquadro had three ground balls and a caused turnover over two starts.

NEW KID FROM CALI
An addition to the roster this spring, Concordia Irvine transfer Stevie Siluano has made a big impact so far this season. She earned her first start at Niagara and comes to St. Bonaventure after scoring 36 goals and being named a Second-Team All-American and first team all-league in the WWLL.

FAR FROM A FOOTBALL HEAD
Senior attack Rylee Arnold continues to make an impact in the Bonnies' record book. With her 51st career goal vs. Lafayette, she's now one off 18th place all-time in scoring in program history. Currently, Cara Callahan, Tracy Domm and Keri Vito sit in a three-way tie for 18th with 52.

NEW FACES IN THE CAGE
After graduating senior goalkeeper Morgan Conroy, who finished second all-time with 630 career saves and a .464 save percentage, the Bonnies will turn to sophomore Savannah Clarke to anchor the defensive unit. Clarke played 217 minutes last season, starting one game and had a save percentage of .398. In her first two games of 2019, Clarke has made 18 saves while facing 65 shots.  Freshman Hayley McIntrye also joins the fray. The Whitby, Ontario native posted a 6.33 GAA over her final two high school seasons.

ABOUT BUTLER
The Bulldogs sit 1-3 after losses to Duquesne, Detroit Mercy and Central Michigan. Their lone win came against the Bonnies upcoming opponent, Kent State - a 13-10 victory in Indianapolis on Feb. 22. A relatively new program, Butler started play in 2017, and has an all-time record of 3-36. However, they play in the competitive Big East conference which features Denver and Old Dominion alongside the traditional powers, and prior to 2019, contained Vanderbilt, Temple and Florida.

ABOUT KENT STATE
The Golden Flashes are in their first year as a program and come in 0-4 off the heels of a 27-0 loss to 20th ranked Notre Dame. Despite the blowout, Kent State had been competitive in their three prior matchups, losing 19-8 to Cincinatti, 11-6 to Robert Morris and 13-10 to Butler. The Golden Flashes roster features 24 freshman, two sophomores and no upperclassmen.
