The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team faces its' first road test of 2019 on Wednesday as they head to Lewiston, N.Y. to take on the Niagara Purple Eagles.

ROAD SWING
After opening their season at home, the Bonnies won't return to the Marra Athletics Complex until March 16. Their Feb. 13 matchup vs. Niagara starts a five-game road stretch that includes games at Butler and Kent State and a two-game stint in Georgia against Mercer and Kennesaw State.

CLIMBING THE LEADERBOARD
Senior attack Rylee Arnold continues to make an impact in the Bonnies' record book. With her 51st career goal on Sunday, she's now one off 18th place all-time in scoring in program history. Currently, Cara Callahan, Tracy Domm and Keri Vito sit in a three-way tie for 18th with 52.

RETURNING ATTACK
The Bonnies return all four of their top goal scorers from last season, led by senior Rylee Arnold who anchored the offense with 26 goals despite missing the final three games of the season. In addition to Arnold, a pair of impressive freshmen from last season, Ashley Easterday and Julia Davidson, return with an extra year of experience after scoring 20 and 11 goals respectively, during their debut seasons.

NEW FACES IN THE CAGE
After graduating senior goalkeeper Morgan Conroy, who finished second all-time with 630 career saves and a .464 save percentage, the Bonnies will turn to sophomore Savannah Clarke to anchor the defensive unit. Clarke played 217 minutes last season, starting one game and had a save percentage of .398. In the season opener against Lafayette, Clarke made 10 saves while facing 32 shots.  Freshman Hayley McIntrye also joins the fray. The Whitby, Ontario native posted a 6.33 GAA over her final two high school seasons.

SERIES HISTORY
The Bonnies and Purple Eagles have met 17 times since 2001 with St. Bonaventure commanding the series 11-6 overall and outscoring the Purple Eagles 231-172. However, over the last six seasons, Niagara has turned the series on its' head winning six straight and outscoring the Bonnies 91-49. Last season at St. Bonaventure, Niagara won 16-6.

ABOUT NIAGARA
