MOON TOWNSHIP, PA - The St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team went into half time trailing by only one goal, but Robert Morris outscored St. Bonaventure 5-1 in the second half to claim the 11-6 win Sunday afternoon.
St. Bonaventure got off to a fast starting, scoring the first two goals of the contest. Rylee Arnold took a free position shot and buried it to give the brown and white the 1-0 advantage.
Three quick goals by Robert Morris put them ahead 3-2, but O'Gorman came back and scored her second goal of the half to draw even.
The brown and white would score two more goals in the first half. Bradley would score with 1:13 left in the first half, and Arnold would score as time expired to bring St. Bonaventure within a goal heading into the break.
The St. Bonaventure offense stalled in the second half. St. Bonaventure would only manage one second half goal, which would come with 22 seconds left in the game. Ashley Easterday took a feed from Rylee Arnold for the Bonnies final goal.
Robert Morris would score the first five goals of the half to secure the win. The win improved Robert Morris to 3-5 and the Bonnies drop to 0-7 for the season.
In goal, Morgan Conroy played the entire 60 minutes taking the loss while stopping 17 shots.
The Bonnies will be back in action when they travel to Siena on Wednesday for the final non-conference contest.
