Caitlin Formato has been named assistant coach for the St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse team, head coach Ryan Lynn announced. Formato is a native of Lancaster, N.Y., who graduated from George Mason University in 2013.
"We are so excited to welcome Caitlin to the Bona family. Caitlin has a great mind for the game and will help elevate our program to the next level," Lynn said. "She understands and is able to coach both sides of the ball which will be a great asset. I am excited to see how well she can take charge of a practice, raise the level of intensity, yet keep things fun and exciting all at the same time. Caitlin's knowledge of the game paired with her enthusiasm to teach will certainly help bring our program to a new level."
