ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure women’s lacrosse senior Molly Hastrich picked up her first Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honor of the season after leading the Bonnies to a 2-1 week, the conference office announced Monday.
Hastrich led the Bonnies with nine goals and three assists for 12 points. The Horseheads, N.Y., native hit the game-winning goal with 1:34 left in the game to give St. Bonaventure an 11-10 victory at Connecticut. She tallied three goals on seven shots in the loss at Canisius while scoring four goals on 10 shots at Connecitcut. The senior netted three second-half goals to add to the Bonnies’ 11-goal second half to down Siena 14-8. She also had six draw controls and picked up two ground balls on the week. She finished the week with 10 goals, four assists and two caused turnovers.
St. Bonaventure returns to action on Tuesday when they host Bucknell at Alfred University.
