ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Coming off a season-opening loss at Oregon on February 21, the St. Bonaventure women's lacrosse got a long break due to inclement weather in western New York and now head south to take on first-year team Florida on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
St. Bonaventure (0-1) did not play its scheduled match against Big 4 rival Niagara on Sunday due to heavy snow fall in western New York. Florida (2-1) enters the game after dropping its contest to No. 4 North Carolina, 18-5, on Sunday afternoon in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Christine Hanely and Danielle Drabin lead the team each scoring three goals against Oregon.
The Bonnies stay in Florida, traveling north to face another first-year team in the Jacksonville Dolphins on Saturday at 11 a.m.
