ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. - Area youngsters will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere when the St. Bonaventure women's basketball team hosts NCAA Basketball's annual Take a Kid to the Game (TAKG) program, Sunday, February 8, 2004. Kids, ages 16 and younger, will receive a free ticket with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket, to watch the Bonnies take on Rhode Island at the Reilly Center.
The Bonnies, who are currently 6-12 on the season and 2-5 in Atlantic 10 Conference play, will hold an autograph session for all fans in attendance following the game.
St. Bonaventure is one of more than 500 institutions across the nation that are participating in this campaign focused on attracting more of the nation's youth to college games. The Take a Kid to the Game program is entering it ninth year in the promotion of NCAA Athletics. Tickets for this special game will be available at the door. Tickets are $3 for adults.
