A 2008 graduate of St. Bonaventure, Priscilla Edwards begins
her third season under head coach Jim Crowley and her second
as assistant coach.
Entering the 2011-12 season, Edwards is responsible for the
organization and coordination of recruiting. She also oversees game
scouting and film breakdown, in addition to practice and game
preparation. Furthermore, she leads the preparation
and execution of yearly individual development workouts
(preseason, in-season, postseason) for both guards and post
players.
In 2010-11, Edwards helped lead the Bonnies to their third straight
20-win season, finishing with a 21-12 record and a trip to the
Second Round of the WNIT.
She spent the 2009-10 season as the Director of Basketball
Operations, assisting in the day-to-day operations of the team,
including program organization, travel and video exchange.
In her final season in the Brown and White, Edwards finished her
playing career in the Bonnies' most successful season after going
23-11 and making a first-ever postseason appearance in the WNIT.
For her guidance of the team, she captured the Ray Dee Leadership
Award at the Senior Awards Banquet at the end of the academic
year.
After being sidelined with a shoulder injury in the 2007-08 season,
Edwards was able to put up 193 points and pull down 110 rebounds in
her final year. She finished her collegiate career with 881 points,
448 rebounds and 354 assists, the assists land her fifth on the
Bonnies all-time list. Edwards became the third player in program
history to lead the team in assists in three out of her four
seasons with the Brown and White.
The Harlem, N.Y. native earned a bachelor of arts degree in
political science and graduated with a master's degree in
counseling.
