Bryanna Mueller joined the St. Bonaventure women's basketball coaching staff in May 2019 and is in her first season with the program.
Mueller comes to the Bonnies by way of Idaho State where she has been an assistant coach since 2016. She had a primary focus of working with Bengals guards while also helping with basketball operations, student-athlete academic progress, recruiting and game preparation.
She helped lead the Bengals to back-to-back 20-win seasons the past two years including 2017-18 when the team captured 21 wins. There, she was instrumental in two Idaho State guards earning All-Big Sky recognition as ISU netted the nation's most improved field goal shooting award while connecting on nearly 46 percent of shots from the floor during the year.
In 2016-17, Mueller helped the Bengals to 19 wins with two guards taking all-conference honors including Estefania Ors who was named Big Sky Freshman of the Year. That season, the Bengals reached the Big Sky Championship Game. While she oversaw ISU student-athlete academic progress, the Bengals had a program record eight players receive Big Sky All-Academic honors during her first season in that role.
Prior to ISU, she worked as a graduate assistant at Arizona State where she served as video coordinator and assisted with basketball operations, scouting reports and camps.
She started her collegiate career at the United States Air Force Academy – she completed one season with the Air Force Academy Prep school and one with the Academy. During her time there, she acted as Bravo Squadron First Sergeant and supervised 85 cadet candidates. She then served as a student manager at Drake where she earned an undergraduate degree in marketing and an MBA.
