Women's Basketball Inks Dziezgowski To NLI

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure University women's basketball team head coach Jesse Fleming has announced the signing of student-athlete Maddie Dziezgowski to a National Letter of Intent to attend St. Bonaventure beginning in the fall of 2020.

Dziezgowski is a 5'10" native of Bethel Park, Pa. who can play shooting guard and small forward.

As a junior, Dziezgowski averaged 14.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game for Bethel Park and was selected to the All-WPIAL First Team. Dziezgowski also helped lead the Black Hawks to a 21-4 record in 2018-19 and a berth into the Pennsylvania State playoffs.

Dziezgowski has been a part of 59 wins at Bethel Park and led her squad to the No. 2 ranking in the PIAA 6A rankings and the No. 5 spot in the Pennsylvania State rankings.

"We are thrilled to add Maddie to the program," Fleming said. "She is a multi-skilled player that can play multiple positions on the floor. She can shoot the three, rebound and defend. Maddie is a very unselfish player and is going to be a great addition to our program and our program's culture."

Dziezgowski is the first signee of the 2020-21 recruiting class for the Bonnies. The Bonnies will graduate seniors Amanda Oliver, Dajah Logan and Claudia Del Moral following this season.
