Maycock Selected as St. Bonaventure's NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee

ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – St. Bonaventure Class of 2019 graduate Mckenna Maycock has been selected as the University's NCAA Woman of the Year nominee.

One of the most prestigious NCAA awards, the NCAA established the Woman of the Year Award in 1991 to celebrate the achievements of women in intercollegiate athletics.

Maycock graduated from St. Bonaventure with both an undergraduate degree in accounting and an MBA in professional accountancy. She had a 3.97 cumulative undergrad GPA and a 3.94 GPA in her graduate work.

On the court, she was in the upper echelon of the Atlantic 10 as well.

She ranked among the A-10 leaders in scoring (12.3 ppg, 15th), rebounding (5.7 rpg, 16th), 3-pointers made (2.3 per game, second), 3-point percentage (33.3 percent, 11th) and led the Bonnies in each of those categories during her final collegiate season. This past year, she started all 24 games she played and averaged 33.3 minutes per game.

For her career, she played in 100 games for the Bonnies and posted 775 points. Her 103 3-pointers are 13th in program history and her 79.7 career free throw percentage is ninth in the Bona record books.

She has also been selected Academic All-Region by the College Sports Information Directors of America three times.
