NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the third straight season, Mckenna Maycock has earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball All-Academic Team for her efforts on the court and in the classroom.
A graduate student who earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and is currently working on her MBA in professional accountancy, Maycock had a 3.97 cumulative undergrad GPA and owns a 3.91 GPA in her graduate work.
On the court, she was in the upper echelon of the Atlantic 10 as well.
She ranked among the A-10 leaders in scoring (12.3 ppg, 15th), rebounding (5.7 rpg, 16th), 3-pointers made (2.3 per game, second), 3-point percentage (33.3 percent, 11th) and led the Bonnies in each of those categories. In her senior season she started all 24 games she played and averaged 33.3 minutes per game.
For her career, she played in 100 games for St. Bonaventure and posted 775 points. Her 103 3-pointers are 13th in program history and her 79.7 career free throw percentage is ninth in the Bona record books.
She has also been selected Academic All-Region by the College Sports Information Directors of America three times including last month. Joining her on the five-player A-10 All-Academic Team are Lauren Cannatelli of Dayton, Mary Goulding of Fordham, Sarah Kaminski of George Mason and Kerri McMahan of Saint Louis.
