BONNIES VS. DUQUESNE - SERIES HISTORY
  • Saturday marks the 58th meeting all-time between the rivals St. Bonaventure and Duquesne.
  • Duquesne has dominated the series in Pittsburgh.  In 27 meetings in Pittsburgh all-time, Duquesne has won 22 times. Though the Bonnies have won five of the last seven meetings at home, they have not fared nearly as well at the Palumbo Center where the Brown and White last won on Feb. 1, 2012.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Freshman Asianae Johnson got some national attention following her buzzer-beater to send the Bonnies to a 62-61 win over Rhode Island Feb. 21. The highlight of her game-winning layup as time expired ranked at No. 2 on the 11 p.m. ESPN SportsCenter Top 10 Plays and stayed at No. 3 for the Los Angeles ediiton of the show.

BEATING THE BUZZER: When the Bonnies scored a 62-61 win over Rhode Island Feb. 21 on Asianae Johnson's layup as time expired, it gave SBU its first true "buzzer-beater" win in over a decade. It was also the first time the Bonnies scored a game-winning bucket with two seconds or less left on the clock since a Nyla Rueter layup gave Bona a 56-54 win at Penn State Nov. 25, 2014.
