STORYLINE: The St. Bonaventure women's basketball team heads to the Buckeye State for a special kids' day game at Akron Wednesday morning. In the earliest tip of the season, the Bonnies and Zips get underway at 10:30 a.m.

IT'S GAMES TIME: This Wednesday's trip to Akron begins quite possibly the busiest week of the season for the St. Bonaventure women's basketball team. The Bonnies will play three games this week with just a day off in between - after Wednesday morning's game at Akron, the Bonnies return home to face Franciscan sister school Siena Friday night at home. Finally, the Bonnies quickly turnaround to travel to Penn State for a Sunday matinee in State College, Pa.

JOHNSON A TOP FROSH: Freshman Asianae Johnson has made a splash thus far in her collegiate debut. Already an Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week selection (Nov. 19), she enters the week as the second-highest scoring freshman in the A-10 this season at 11.4 points per game. Only Saint Louis' Ciaja Harbison (12.3 ppg) ranks higher among A-10 freshmen entering the week.

BOARD WORK: Sophomore Emily Calabrese not only paces the Bonnies in rebounding this season at 7.0 rpg, but she is among the leaders in the Atlantic 10. Entering this week, she stands tied for fifth with Rhode Island's Davida Dale and Nicole Jorgensen.

LINEUP CHANGES: In each of the past three games, the Bonnies have employed a different starting lineup. In Denver, Bona's junior college transfers Claudia Del Moral and Amanda Oliver joined the starting lineup in back-to-back games. Last Thursday vs. Bucknell, it was redshirt junior Dajah Logan who picked up her first start in a Bonnies uniform.

DANIELLE DOUBLE-DOUBLE: Junior Danielle Migliore has taken over a leading role in the Bonnies lineup following an injury to senior Mckenna Maycock. Nov. 24 at Denver, Migliore delivered her third career double-double by finishing with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

DROPPIN' DIMES: Redshirt junior Dajah Logan scored 11 points off the bench Nov. 24 at Denver, her third game this season in double-figure scoring. The previous day vs. Ohio, though, she set her career high in assists by facilitating those around her. Against the Bobcats, she dished out six assists, her highest total in now her third collegiate season.

JORNLIN'S ROLE GROWS: Freshman Carrie Jornlin saw increased minutes during the Bonnies' recent trip to Denver. For the first time in her young career, she picked up double-digit minutes in back-to-back games including a career-high 18 minutes vs. Ohio. Against Bucknell on Nov. 29, she hit a pair of three-pointers for a career high six points.
