STORYLINE
St. Bonaventure hosts VCU in the home finale on Saturday afternoon, honoring their seniors before the start of the contest at 1 p.m. inside the Reilly Center.

BONNIES TO CELEBRATE SENIOR DAY
Please note: Senior Day festivities set to begin at 12:41 p.m. Fans should expect to be in their seats by that time to watch the ceremony.

Saturday is St. Bonaventure Senior Day. Prior to the game, the Bonnies will honor players Gabby Richmond and Imani Outlaw as well as senior manager Tristan Slocum.

Outlaw has played in 120 games during the course of her career in Brown and White. This season she has appeared in 24 contests including three starts, averaging 12.1 minutes per game. Last year, she saw time in 31 games while helping the Bonnies reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Outlaw is also heavily involved in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and is a Childhood Studies major.

Gabby Richmond has spent the past five years with the program after redshirting the 2012-13 season. Gabrielle has played in 114 games for the Bonnies including 77 starts, scoring 905 career points entering today. She also enters today's game tied for third in program history with 83 career blocks. This season, she has been instrumental to the team with her leadership and play on the court. She has started all 26 games, averaging 11.9 points and 7.9 rebounds per game and is among the Atlantic 10 leaders in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage and blocks per game. In the classroom, she completed her undergraduate degree in marketing and is currently enrolled in the University's MBA program.

  • Rhianna Council was just one point off her career high when she scored seven Wednesday at GW. She also played a career high 22 minutes Wednesday night.
  • Wednesday was Mariah Ruff's 13th game this season with four or more assists and the 12th game of her career with six or more.
  • St. Bonaventure sophomore guard Mckenna Maycock was honored as a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team last week, representing District 1 (New York, Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont). She is one of six players on the District 1 team and the only Atlantic 10 player to be recognized nationwide. An accounting major, Maycock owns a 4.0 GPA in the classroom.
  • Ruff again landed on the Atlantic 10 Weekly Honor Roll after averaging 18.0 ppg in two games last week. She has made a great case for postseason awards, ranking 10th in the Atlantic 10 in scoring (13.8 ppg), eighth in assists (3.8 apg) and 7th in assists-to-turnover ratio (1.5).

SERIES HISTORY 
St. Bonaventure is vying for its first win against VCU as the Rams have won each of the previous five meetings including two wins last year. VCU scored a 52-47 win during the regular season in Richmond last year, then knocked the Bonnies out of the Atlantic 10 tournament with a 59-50 victory in the quarterfinals.

The Rams are 13-14 overall and 6-8 in A-10 play and are looking to snap a jinx on the road this season, going just 4-8 in true road games and 2-5 away from home in A-10 contests. VCU ranks seventh in points per game among all A-10 teams (62.8 ppg) and 11th in scoring defense (64.2 ppg allowed). VCU has been dominant on the offensive glass, ranking No. 1 in the league with 15.1 offensive rebounds per game. The Rams are led by Keira Robinson who averages 10.9 points per game and Mooriah Rowser posts 9.3 ppg. Curteeona Brelove pulls down a team-best 6.7 rebounds per game.
