FAIRFAX, Va. – Freshman Mason Kimbell led a quartet of first-year runners who showed the way for the St. Bonaventure men's cross country team Saturday morning in the Atlantic 10 Championship held at Oatlands Plantation. St. Bonaventure finished 14th in the team standings.
Kimbell continued to nearly mirror his 8K times from previously in the season, finishing Saturday in a time of 27:35.6, just six seconds off what he ran two weeks ago at the Gettysburg Invitational and five seconds quicker than his mark at the National Catholic Invitational last month.
The Berwick, Pa. native finished 93rd in the field of 117 runners, the highest finish in the Atlantic 10 Championship for an SBU men's runner since Harley Thompson finished 90th in 2014.

Sophomore Donavan Lowe wrapped up the scoring for the Bonnies with his time of 30:00.7.
