RICHMOND, Va. – Freshman William Delaney led the St. Bonaventure University men's cross country team on Saturday morning at Atlantic 10 Championships.
Delaney ran a five-mile time of 27:42.4 to show the way for the Bonnies in his debut at the conference championship meet, leading the team as he has for the entire season.
Senior Ben Collins was second on the squad with his mark of 28:18.9, just barely finishing ahead of freshman teammate Devan Cavanagh's 28:28.6.
The Bonnies finished 14th in the team scoring. Dayton won the A-10 Championship with 57 team points to best second-place Duquesne's 77. Saint Louis (85), George Mason (102) and Saint Joseph's (130).
