@BonniesXC Struggle To Find Their Stride At NCAA Northeast Regionals

RIVERDALE, N.Y.- The St. Bonaventure men's cross country team struggled in the NCAA Northeast regionals at Van Cortlandt Park last Friday, placing last in the thirty seven team field with an overall time of 3:00.16.

Sophomore Joe Ferencik crossed the line first for the Bonnies, coming in at 223rd out of 255 runners. With a pace of 5:36 per k/m, Ferencik's overall time was 34.51.8. Junior Harley Thompson finished four spots behind his teammate with a time of 35:06.0, placing 227th in the field.

Junior Nick Masiello was the third member of the Brown and White to finish the race, placing 246th with a time of 36:22.3, just in head of sophomore Caleb Lecker who crossed the line at 36:32.3, placing him 248th in the race. Junior Steve Kibbe registered a time of 37:23.9 which was good enough for 250th in the field of runners. Senior Chris Spiker was the last of the Bonnies to cross the finish line with a time of 38:16.8 and this placed him 253rd in the race.
