Began the season recovering from off-season surgery and finished it as the team’s top runner … recorded the worst finish of his career at the Little Three Invitational when he came through at 18:03 as the seventh SBU finisher … improved slightly at National Catholic Championships, finishing fifth on the team with a time of 28:24 … at the Mason Invitational, became the top-runner when he paced the Bonnies with a 27:49 finish … at the Gettysburg Invitational, he again led Bona with a 26:59 performance; the time was the fourth best 8k performance in school history … he slowed down a bit with a 28:10 finish at Atlantic 10 Championships but was still able to finish first for the team … finished the season by breaking the school 10k record with a 33:45 performance at Northeast Regionals.
As A Freshman (2011) | Results
Ran through a hip injury through the entirety of his freshman season but still managed to be one of the top three runners in six of the seven meets the team participated in … posted the team’s second-fastest 5k time of the season with a 16:37 at the Mount St. Mary’s Invitational … finished third and fourth for the Bonnies in the Little Three and Paul Short invitationals with times of 30:10 and 30:06, respectively … finished 98th in the Albany Invitational with a time of 28:14 … posted his fastest 8k time of the season at the Atlantic 10 Championships with a time of 27:33 … ended his freshman season with a 36:36 time in the 10k Northeast Regionals, good for second on the team and 211th overall … underwent surgery to repair his injured hip in the offseason.
Closed out a four-year cross country career by finishing third overall at the PIAA State Championships with a time of 16:04, helping Elk County place 17th overall ... earned a District 9 Cross Country Championship in his final season to go with medalist honors in the District's 3,200m Outdoor Championship as a junior.
