FAIRFAX, Va. – Another school record fell on a hot day in Virginia as the St. Bonaventure men's track team competed on the final day of Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track and Field Championships Sunday afternoon on the campus of George Mason.
Freshman Zane Courtwright set his second program record of the weekend, this time topping the Bona's record books in the 1500 meters. Less than 24 hours removed from breaking the school record time in the 800, he also did so in the 1500 with his run of 4:05.46, more than five seconds better than the previous top time set in 2012 by Nick Masiello and over six seconds faster than his own previous personal best.
In the 5000, senior Nathan Prisella had a strong effort, leading the team and finishing 18th overall by breaking the 16-minute mark and finishing at 15:58.95. Darion Gregory (16:20.83) and Patrick Stevens (16:52.66) also represented the Bonnies in the 5000.
