ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. Bonaventure men's track team completed the indoor portion of its schedule with a second trip to RIT for the Rochester Invitational Friday evening.
Nathan Prisella showed the way in the 5000 meters, finishing second out of 14 competitors with a time of 16:13.55, just behind the winning mark of 16:08.55 set by RIT's Sebation Moreano. The time is also the best of the season by a Bonnies runner. Christian Riethmiller came in fifth in the event with a finishing time of 16:48.33, his best of the season.
In the mile, Logan Caruso placed sixth out of 22 finishers with his effort of 4:42.13 and another PR mark as he surpassed his time two weeks ago at RIT by over two seconds.
Elias Kott paced the Bonnies in the 800 meters, placing eighth out of 30 competitors with a time of 2:05.25 that stands best on the team during three indoor meets. Darion Gregory was second on the team and 13th overall with a PR time of 2:09.24.
