NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – St. Bonaventure University men's tennis senior Indra Patwardhan was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team and the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, conference officials announced.
Patwardhan, a Pune, India native, led the Bonnies with 16 doubles wins this season at the No. 1 flight and ranked second on the team with 11 singles wins, also at No. 1.
In his three-year career, Patwardhan has won 34 singles matches and 28 doubles matches for the Brown and White. He was also named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week on Feb. 6, 2019.
Early in March, the Bonnies were the winners of three straight and three out of four matches against Wright State, Roberts Wesleyan, Daemen and Colgate. During that span, Patwardhan won all four of his singles matches and was victorious in three doubles matches with partner Lukas Linden Malmberg.
Academically, Patwardhan carries a 3.932 cumulative GPA and is a multi-time selection to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. He will graduate this week with a degree in finance.
